Teams will showcase QI initiatives, education, research, and operations projects related to neonatal and pediatric transport, while introducing their crew and connecting with others. Neonatal Sim Workshop  

Upon completion of this interactive session participants will have worked within a team, through a clinical scenario to:  

  • Recognize unstable neonatal patients requiring urgent intervention during critical care transport.   
  • Demonstrate initial steps of resuscitation and stabilization for patients who decompensate in the transport environment.   
  • Practice advanced clinical skills in a simulation environment. 
  • Practice key aspects of crisis resource management during simulation scenarios, including leadership, communication, and situational awareness. 

 

Pediatric Sim Workshop
